Welcome PBP’s New Seniors Programming Volunteer
We are pleased to welcome to our volunteer team Dianne Cooper-Ponte. She is a long-standing resident of Palliser and has been working Calgary Seniors, a non-profit organization that offers innovative and creative services to support seniors. You may have met her at our Community Clean Up in April.
She is hosting a focus group with interested seniors in the PBP and surrounding communities to understand what type of programming people would like to see. Ideas of programming that will be discussed are: “coffee & conversation”, fitness, luncheons, field trips, card/bridge meetings, socials, and craft days. The focus meeting will be held June 18th at 7pm at the Community Centre. Rides to the community center will be available if needed. If you are interested in attending the focus group meeting or would just like to tell Dianne your thoughts, please email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
