Members and Board Members Needed (November is PBP’s AGM)

Have you ever wondered who runs this community and how decisions are made?

The three neighbourhoods of Palliser, Bayview and Pump Hill represent 5400 homes, condos and apartments in Calgary. The PBP Community Association (PBPCA) is a charity which manages our community centre, organizes events and programs, and publishes the community newsletter. We have an amazing budget of anywhere from $70,000 to $150,000 to spend in our community: events, facility and programs. This past year was one of exciting renewal as we made changes to the PBPCA budget, facility and newsletter, and even were able to add new events and programs.

Volunteers – people from this neighbourhood – run the entire operation.

Whether it is a few hours a year or a few hours per month, we need volunteers like you to fill key committee positions at this November’s AGM. If you don’t feel like volunteering, then please support the PBPCA by purchasing your family membership, either online or from this newsletter.
