Weaselhead Pathway and Shoreline Clean-Up

Weaselhead Pathway and Shoreline Clean-Up

Sunday, May 3rd, 10am

Winter’s gone, summer’s ahead.
It’s time to clean the Weaselhead!
Please join our wonderful crew of volunteers as we pick up bits of litter in one of Canada’s largest, most beautiful and diverse urban Protected Natural Parks. We meet in the NW corner of the Weaselhead parking lot, 66th avenue and 37th street SW Sunday, May 3rd at 10 a.m. You’ll be provided with “litter-grabbers”, bags, and a variety of yummy refreshments. Appropriate foot gear and a hat is recommended. Cyclists welcome as well!
It’s basically a 90 minute walk in the park; an all-ages event, and groups are welcomed. If you’d like to participate, please e-mail me back. Feel free to pass this message on to anyone you think may be interested in helping out.
Thanking you on behalf of the Weaselhead/Glenmore Park Preservation Society,

P.S. If you’re interested, at 1:00 p.m, there will be a ‘Jane’s Walk’ of the Weaselhead that you are welcome to join, led by the incredibly informative Jesse Salus.logo-weaselhead
