Outdoor Ice Rink

Our outdoor ice rink, located behind Nellie McClung Elementary School, serves the community of Palliser, Bayview and Pump Hill (PBP Community). It is available to all community members during the long months of winter. There is a large rink on our newly paved area plus a smaller rink off to the side for the new skaters. Washroom Facilities are available: a Port-a-Potty now available when Community Centre is closed. Come out and enjoy the weather, meet members of your community and get some exercise!

Please support your community and become a PBPCA member if you plan on using the rink!

Rink Update

2013-Nov-28: Still in the process of initial flooding – too warm!

Click here for all rink updates: Rink News.

Join the Flood Team

We have an experienced team of flooders or “rink rats” but we could use a few more to help out and keep the duties at a manageable level for everyone. We will have a rotating schedule so that no one parent “gets stuck” with all the responsibility.

If you are interested in learning more, please email Craig Hopkins at the contact information below. We are holding our first meeting of the 2013-2014 season at PBP Community Hall board room (adjacent to the school) on Wednesday November 6th at 7:30 pm, and all are welcome. If you cannot make the meeting but would still like to be involved, please contact us at any time.
