PBP Community Cleanup Day August 4

Date: Sunday August 4, 2024

Time: 9 am to 1:30 pm

Place: Parking lot – Palliser-Bayview-Pumphill Community Association.

Enter Playground side:  Exit Nellie McClung School (2323 Palliser Drive SW) side parking lot.

This success of this event is dependent on volunteers to help us run things smoothly for the community.

Community Clean Up is a great opportunity to:

Dispose of large items: The City of Calgary Waste & Recycling Services sponsors a unique community program by providing two packer trucks. Residents can bring unwanted household goods (things that might otherwise fill your basement, yard, street, or alley) to  the pickup site.

Recycle: We will also have household electronic recycling including TV’s, Computer systems, Power tools, Wire cables, Christmas lights, Electric/Electronic toys along with METAL recycling.

Donate to Calgary Drop In Centre and Cerebral Palsy: Furniture, Household goods, Clothing, Bedding, Towels, Hygiene supplies.

Donate to our give and take table: Donate items that are in good condition but are no longer needed or used. It’s a wonderful way to ensure items get a second life.

Contribute: To your community by volunteering to help organize, man stations or direct traffic.

What to leave at home (items not accepted) Don’t Bring: Tires * Household Chemicals * Freezers * Fridges * Microwaves * Car Batteries * Large-scale Furniture * Paint * Liquids * No yard waste.
