Seedlings Preschool offers a Reggio-Inspired Spanish Immersion Program for 2.5 – 6 year-old children

We believe that kids – like seedlings – have huge potential and need a special environment to develop in. Seedlings offers a well-balanced program with full Spanish Immersion designed to promote your child’s cognitive, social and emotional development.
Classes run Sept–June
Description of our program:
Seedlings employs philosophies and methods drawn from the Reggio-Emilia approach. This includes a dynamic and interactive curriculum with a project-focused multi-disciplinary learning approach. This method is tremendously motivational, and allows children to develop creativity and a love of learning.
Individual learning time. Each child will have a one-on-one daily session with a teacher. During this time, Spanish learning and fine motor skills will be practiced and taught through fun activities in a way that caters to each child’s unique needs.
Full Spanish Immersion: During the first 3 weeks the teachers will speak English and Spanish gradually using more Spanish than English. By our fourth week we will be basically speaking Spanish during the class – for specific situations we will use English with the kids.
English Program: We are now offering preschool classes in English. These classes will be structured similarly to Spanish classes, and are built around the same core values, philosophies, and methods. There will also be an optional Spanish-learning component in the program.
For Kindergarten-Aged Kids: Seedlings offers the opportunity for Kindergarten-aged kids to attend our classes, and also offers weekly private 1-hour Spanish lessons for this age group.
