PBP Computer Programming
PBP Community Association is providing the Coding Program supported by a non-profit organization, ARTex Coding Society Calgary, which aims to coach eager students for introductory to intermediate skills in coding and programming.
Our coaches are extensively trained in various programming languages, including the ones below. Having decades of cumulative experience, they’ll help your child excel in many courses of their choosing.
The coding program will run at the PBP Community Center and provide a hands-on teaching experience for Introductory and Intermediate Python, Java and C++, designed for ages 9~15.
Python:
Python is a powerful and versatile programming language used by data scientists, web developers, and game designers.
If you are a student looking to learn how to code, then Python is a great place to start.
Under the guidance of experienced instructors from ARTex, students will learn essential programming concepts such as loops, functions, classes, and basic syntax.
Java:
Java is commonly used for mobile apps and database technology and is an exemplary language for object-oriented programming.
Our expert instructors will guide you through engaging and interactive lessons with real-world examples and hands-on exercises. This will ensure that you not only understand the material but can also apply it in practical situations.
C++:
C++ is one of the world’s most widely used programming languages and is required to participate in the Canadian Computing Olympiad (CCO).
The students will be given an early start in this highly desirable, highly competitive field.
Students in this program will learn C++ and practice tackling various coding challenges.
